Gambaran Perputaran Modal Usaha Pada Industri Rumah Tangga Tahu Di Desa Kunir

Abstract

The most of tofu home industry operators in Kunir Kidul find it difficult to distinguish between business capital and household consumption. The purpose of this study is to examine how tofu home industry owners manage their business finances including capital, profits, and personal expenses. The research method employed a qualitative approach using a narrative framework. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The data were analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Data validity was tested for credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. The results of the study indicate that, the businesses run by the owners have not yet implemented simple bookkeeping or recorded cash inflows and outflows in their current operations. Second, a key driver of tofu marketing in Kunir Kidul Village is its distribution outside the region, which broadens the reach of buyers familiar with Kunir tofu; furthermore, the revenue generated from Kunir tofu sales can provide a stable income for home-based businesses. The findings of this study are recommended to the Economics Education Study Program as an educational institution to foster a stronger entrepreneurial spirit among students, particularly regarding working capital management, production cost efficiency, and business development strategies, so that graduates are not only oriented toward becoming educators but are also capable of becoming entrepreneurs. For future researchers, it is recommended to expand upon these findings by linking them to broader variables, such as entrepreneurial knowledge, business development strategies, and household business productivity.
