Peranan Pendidikan Kewirausahaan dalam Menumbuhkan Intensi Kewirausahaan Mahasiswa

Abstract


Perguruan tinggi saat ini berlomba-lomba dalam menggiatkan dan mengembangkan kewirausahaan di kampus, dengan banyak metode, seperti pendidikan dan pelatihan, pendampingan, mentoring, coaching dan berbagai metode lainnya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis peranan pendidikan kewirausahaan dalam menumbuhkan intensi kewirausahaan, sehingga penelitian ini dapat dikatakan sebagai penelitian eksplanasi. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa program studi Manajemen Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara, dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 97 orang yang telah mengikuti mata kuliah kewirausahaan. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan kewirausahaan dengan dimensi dosen/instruktur, materi, bahan ajar, metode pembelajaran, penugasan dan evaluasi memberikan pengaruh terhadap intensi kewirausahaan. Sementara dosen/instruktur, materi, bahan ajar, metode pembelajaran, dan penugasan berpengaruh terhadap intensi kewirausahaan, namun evaluasi tidak memberikan pengaruh pada intensi kewirausahaan.
