Kecerdasan Buatan dan Pergeseran Akademik: Studi tentang Perubahan Pola Belajar dan Cara Berpikir Mahasiswa akibat Ketergantungan terhadap Teknologi AI (ChatGPT)

Abstract


Kemunculan kecerdasan buatan (AI) seperti ChatGPT telah memicu pergeseran signifikan dalam cara mahasiswa belajar dan berpikir. Penelitian ini mengkaji bagaimana ketergantungan terhadap ChatGPT memengaruhi perubahan pola belajar dan cara berpikir di kalangan mahasiswa Indonesia. Dengan pendekatan kuantitatif melalui survei terhadap 400 responden yang dipilih secara purposif, penelitian ini memanfaatkan teori Uses and Gratifications untuk memahami motivasi penggunaan AI dalam konteks akademik. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa ketergantungan tinggi terhadap ChatGPT berdampak signifikan terhadap perubahan cara mahasiswa mengakses, memahami, dan mengolah informasi. Studi ini menawarkan kebaruan melalui temuan identifikasi hubungan antara intensitas penggunaan ChatGPT dan transformasi kognitif dalam proses belajar mahasiswa. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi penting bagi kajian literasi digital dan implikasi pedagogis penggunaan AI di pendidikan tinggi.
