Cup Sleeve Event Sebagai bentuk Hedonisme Baru Penggemar K-Pop
Abstract
Cup sleeve adalah sebuah acara yang digelar di kafe biasanya untuk merayakan ulang tahun, hari jadi atau sebuah pencapaian grup atau anggota grup K-Pop. Selama ini studi tentang hedonisme pada penggemar K-Pop hanya didasarkan pada pembelian album, merchandise atau menonton konser saja sementara saat ini tren cup sleeve seolah menjadi primadona baru di kalangan para penggemar K-Pop. Acara cup sleeve menawarkan tidak hanya keceriaan berkumpul bersama teman-teman yang berasal dari fandom yang sama namun juga hedonisme di dalamnya. Proses hedonisme disini dimulai dengan mendaftar pada acara yang biasanya membayar sejumlah uang untuk mendapatkan cup sleeve dengan wajah idola dan sejumlah merchandise. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat proses hedonisme yang terjadi saat penggemar K-Pop berkumpul dalam acara cup sleeve. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Informan penelitian ini adalah penggemar grup K-Pop Seventeen di Purwokerto. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa cup sleeve event menjadi tren terbaru konsumsi hedonis untuk penggemar K-Pop.
